Abstract
On October 4, 2022 Aruna and Lankadeepa reported the death of an actor. Aruna had reported with an insensitive while the Lankadeepa headline seemed more appropriate for the news. On October 5 Aruna reported the disappearance of a student at the University of Peradeniya insensitively by limiting the reason to stress caused by a romantic relationship.
