ලිංගික අපරාධ වාර්තාකරණය සහ මාධ්ය ආචාර ධර්ම
Abstract
During the month of February 2018, Lankadeepa, Mawbima, Sunday Divaina, Sunday Mawbima, Rivira, and Lakbima published several articles which contained the following ethical violations: using the derogatory terms "දුෂණය" (Dooshanaya) and "කෙළෙසීම" (Keleseema) to describe sexual crimes, using trivialised headings that do not sufficiently describe the gravity of sexual crime and publishing images of the victims. Meanwhile Daily Mirror reported incidents ethically.
