Information Note on the Proposed Issuance of Treasury Bills to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka

Abstract

In its 12 March 2020 information note on the Secretary to the Treasury’s request for the Central Bank to issue Rs. 50 billion in treasury bills before 13 March 2020, the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank provides the provisions in the Monetary Law Act and department’s observations.
