    Abstract
    In its 18 March 2020 observations on Treasury’s request to finance an Energy Stabilisation Fund, the Economic Research Department emphasised that all alternative options must be explored before seeking Central Bank funding, as the request is not an urgent. The observation note also proposed alternative solutions.
