On July 25, 2024, Dinamina and Ada newspapers reported on the suicide of a University of Sri Jayewardenepura student. Dinamina published the story without mentioning any helplines and described both the suicide method and part of a note written beforehand, violating media ethical guidelines. In contrast, Ada newspaper included helplines and withheld these details which is commendable.en_US
