On June 11, 2024, media reported that Dilith Jayaweera, an entrepreneur and the leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party, had attended a special meeting organised by Sri Lankans in Australia on June 10, 2024. This infographic shows the media that covered and those that did not cover the news in Sinhala television main news broadcasts and Sinhala language newspapers on June 11, 2024. Only TV Derana and the Aruna newspaper covered the story, while several major media organisations, including Sirasa, Hiru TV, Siyatha, Swarnawahini, Rupavahini, and ITN television channels, along with the Lankadeepa, Divaina, Dinamina, Mawbima, and Ada newspapers, did not report the story.
