Abstract
On January 24, 2024, the Socialist Youth Union and Civil Society Organisations held a protest against the Online Act on the Security of Online Systems at the Diyatha Uyana intersection in Baththaramulla. Sirasa, Hiru TV, Siyatha, Swarnawahini and TV Derana reported the protest during their prime Sinhala news bulletins on the same day. Rupavahini and ITN did not cover the event.
