    Abstract
    On January 25, 2024, Ethics Eye posted a post showing the front page headlines from Sinhala and English newspapers about the passing of the Online Safety Bill. The post did not focus on any ethical issues; instead, it compared how different newspapers covered this news. Through this comparison, Ethics Eye highlighted the different ways Sinhala and English media presented the story. The Sinhala newspapers featured were Dinamina, Lankadeepa, Divaina, and Mawbima, while the English newspapers included Daily News, Daily Mirror, The Island, and Ceylon Today.
