dc.description.abstract | On 19 May 2023, Sinhala newspapers published articles about the ceremony that was held on 18 May 2023 to commemorate the deceased Tamil nationals who died during the Sri Lankan civil war. The papers which reported on this used different angles in how they framed the news. Dinamina, Divaina and Lankadeepa called the ceremony as a tiger commemoration. But Mawbima, Ada and Aruna reported this as a ceremony in Mullliwaikkal. | en_US |
