The buddhist clergyman Ajaan Brahamvansoo had to remain for 12 hours due to his flight getting grounded at the Bandaranayake International Airport. On 04 June, Swaranawahini and on 05 June Sirasa broadcast footage during their news bulletins covering the views shared by the monk while he had been grounded at the airport. However, it was observed that the footage shown by the two channels were different. After careful analysis, it was ascertained that the clip shown by Sirasa was accurate. But the video shown by Swarnawahini was of a speech given by the monk much earlier, on 20 May 2023, which had been broadcast by the Western Australia Buddhist Association.en_US
