Abstract

On 5th of April 2023 an article published in the Lankadeepa newspaper revealed the identity of a woman who had physically abused two minors, including her daughter, for engaging in sexual activity. This disclosure also indirectly revealed the identity of the minor because it revealed the relationship between the minors and the woman, which is against media ethics guidelines.
