    Abstract
This infographic was created as a response to the appointment of two acting ministers by the President during his visit to the United Kingdom to attend the coronation of King Charles III. Accordingly, current State Minister of Finance MP Shehan Semasinghe (SLPP) was appointed as the acting minister of Finance whereas current State Minister of Defence MP Premitha Thennakoon (SLPP) was appointed as the acting minister of Defence. This infographic shows the contribution of both MPs in 8th and 9th parliaments. It is based on analysis of Hansard data from September 2015 to February 2020 and August 2020 to February 2023. This includes overall ranks, district ranks, attendance in parliament sittings, total number of productive interventions they made in 8th and 9th parliaments. Both MPs have contributed most to discuss about Economy and Finance, Governance, Administration and Parliamentary Affairs, Welfare and Social services, Justice, Defense and Public Order.
