Abstract
On October 23, 2022 Divaina and on October 24, 2022 Daily News reported the pardoning of former LTTE cadres who were convicted by courts over LTTE activities including the bombing of former president Chandrika Kumaratunge. Divaina referred to the prisoners as කොටියා (Tiger) while Daily News referred to them as LTTE cadres.
