Abstract
In the month of August 2018, Dinamina, Ada, Divaina, Lakbima, Mawbima, Lankadeepa, Virakesari and Thinakkural reported suicides without including suicide helplines while including method of suicide, giving prominence to suicide in the heading, simplifying reasons for suicide, publishing images of the victim and relations which is a violation of media ethical guidelines.
