Abstract
In the month of July 2018, Sunday Lankadeepa, Divaina, Lankadeepa, and Mawbima reported suicides without including suicide helplines while including method of suicide, giving prominence to suicide in the heading, simplifying reasons for suicide, publishing images of the victim and relations which is a violation of media ethical guidelines.
