Abstract

In the month of May 2018, Divaina, Ada, Sunday Divaina, Lankadeepa, Lakbima and Mawbima reported suicides without including suicide helplines while including method of suicide, giving prominence to suicide in the heading, simplifying reasons for suicide, publishing suicide notes, publishing images of the victim which is a violation of media ethical guidelines.
