Abstract
In the month of April 2018, Divaina, Lankadeepa, Lakbima, Mawbima and Dinamina and Daily Mirror reported suicides without including suicide helplines while including method of suicide, giving prominence to suicide in the heading, publishing images of the victim and family members which is a violation of media ethical guidelines.
