Abstract

During the month of October 2019, articles published in Divaina, Aruna, Dinamina and Mawbima reported suicides without including suicide helplines while including method of suicide, simplifying the reason for trying to take a life and also giving prominence to suicide in the headline which is a violation of media ethical guidelines.
