Abstract

In the month of March 2022, articles published in Sunday Divaina, Sunday Aruna, Ceylon Today and Mawbima, reported on the 43rd Brigade joining the satyagraha organised by the UNP. Sunday Aruna and Mawbima framed the framed the incident as the 43rd Brigade joining the UNP party, hence not clearly describing what happened. By contrast Sunday Divaina and Ceylon Today reported it accurately.
