Abstract

In the month of March 2022, Ethics Eye published an infographic which presents a comparative study of 2020 and 2021, analysing the data pertaining how ethnicity was irrelevantly and negatively highlighted in the Sinhala press. It shows that by the end of 2021, the number of times that ethnicity was highlighted in the press has increased compared to the end of 2020.
