    Abstract
During the month of February 2022, Aruna, Divaina and Mawbima published articles which contained the ethical violation of not using a person-first language when reporting on persons with disabilities. Derogatory terms used to describe persons with disabilities, such as “golu” and “manda maanasika” have been used in the reportage.
