Petition Dismissed - Diana Keeps Her Parliament Seat

Abstract

On October 31, 2023, the Court of Appeal dismissed the petition that sought the disqualification of SJB MP Diana Gamage from holding a parliament seat due to her alleged citizenship. The infographic further delves into the specifics about the writ petition that was filed against her and the relevant legal provisions.
