Parliamentary Complex at Diyawanna completes 41 years

Abstract

As of April 29, 2023, it's been 41 years since the relocation of the Parliament of Sri Lanka to its present complex at Diyawanna. This infographic highlights upon the history behind the relocation, including information relating to the construction of the then-new parliament. Additionally, J. R. Jayawardene's address during the opening ceremony of parliament was referenced.
