Parliamentary report card: Premalal Jayasekara – September 2015 to March 2020 and August 2020 to February 2022

Abstract

This report card shows the contribution of MP Premalal Jayasekara (SLPP) in 8th and 9th parliaments. It is based on analysis of Hansard data from September 2015 to March 2020 (8th) and August 2020 to February 2022 (9th). This includes attendance in parliament sittings (86/414; 80/142), total number of productive interventions he made in parliament (8th - 10; 9th -27) and topics which were discussed most by him in the parliament i.e. Governance, Administration and Parliamentary Affairs, Economy and Finance, Urban Planning, Infrastructure and Transportation, Justice, Defense and Public Order, Natural Resources and Environment and Trade and Industry.
