Abstract

This report card shows the contribution of MP Wimal Weerawansa (SLPP) in 8th and 9th parliaments. It is based on analysis of Hansard data from September 2015 to March 2020 (8th) and August 2020 to January 2022 (9th). This includes attendance in parliament sittings (205/414; 49/134), total number of productive interventions he made in parliament (8th - 350; 9th -51) and topics which were discussed most by him in the parliament i.e. Economy and Finance, Governance, Administration and Parliamentary Affairs, Justice, Defense and Public Order and Trade and Industry.
