Parliamentary report card: Arundika Fernando – September 2015 to February 2020 and August 2020 to October 2021

Abstract

This report card shows the contribution of MP Arundika Fernando (SLPP) in 8th and 9th parliaments. It is based on analysis of Hansard data from September 2015 to February 2020 (8th) and August 2020 to October 2021 (9th). This includes attendance in parliament sittings (163/414; 53/102), total number of productive interventions he made in parliament (8th - 38; 9th -21), ministerial portfolios (State Minister of Coconut, Kithul and Palmyrah Cultivation; Promotion and Related Industrial Product Manufacturing and Export Diversification) and topics which were discussed most by him in the parliament i.e. Economy and Finance, Urban Planning, Infrastructure and Transportation, Trade and Industry and Governance, Administration and Parliamentary Affairs.
