Abstract

This infographic shows MP attendance between August 2020 and December 2022, whereby Parliament has met for 231 days during this period. On 121 days, 47 MPs or more were absent whereas on 45 days, 74 MPs or more were absent. Further, this infographic highlights following 10 MPs who were absent for more than 50% of the sittings: R. Sampanthan (ITAK), Harin Fernando (SJB), Palani Thigambaram (SJB), Dilum Amunugama (SLPP), Tiran Alles (SLPP), S. Noharathalingam (ITAK), Wimal Weerawansa (SLPP), C. V. Wigneswaran (TMTK), Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa (SLPP) and Arundika Fernando (SLPP).
