MPs Attendance in Parliament - August to October 2022
Abstract
This set of infographics show how Sri Lankan MPs attended Parliament during the 26 sittings held in August, September and October 2022. It also highlights the individual MPs (27) with less than 50% attendance during this period. They are R. Sampanthan (ITAK) – 8%; Dhammika Perera (SLPP) – 15%; Arundika Fernando (SLPP), Harin Fernando (SJB) and Premalal Jayasekara (SLPP) – 27%; Kumarasiri Rathnayaka (SLPP) and Palani Thigambaram (ITAK) - 31%; M.U.M. Ali Sabry (SLPP), Selvarajah Kajendren (AITC), Shanakiyan Rasamanickam (ITAK) and Tissa Vitarana (SLPP) – 35%; Dilum Amunugama (SLPP), Rohitha Abeygunawardhana (SLPP), Uddika Premaratne (SLPP), Vijitha Herath (JJB) and Waruna Liyanage (SJB) - 38%; Abdul Haleem (SJB), Roshan Ranasinghe (SLPP), S. Noharathalingam (ITAK), Seetha Arambepola (SLPP) and Siripala Gamlath (SLPP) - 42%; Dharmalingam Sithadthan (ITAK), Jayarathna Herath (SLPP), Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi (SLPP), Tiran Alles (SLPP), Udayakantha Gunathilaka (SLPP) and Wimal Weerawansa (SLPP – 46%).
