Abstract

This infographic depicts the percentage allocated for the Education in the Budget 2023 and the extent to which this topic has been discussed in the Parliament. Education has only been allotted 6.33% of the 2023 budgeted expenditure, ranking 3rd out of 10 key sectors. G.L. Peiris, Susil Premajayantha and Buddhika Pathirana were the MPs who contributed the most to this discussion.
