dc.description.abstract | During the month January 2023, several articles published in Ada, Mawbima and Irida Mawbima, didn't contain person-first language when referring to persons with disabilities. Some of the terms that were used were "ශ්රවණාබාධිත" and "ආබාධ". The reportage in Irida Mawbima used the correct term in introduction, "ආබාධ සහිත පුද්ගලයන්", however used incorrect terms, "ශ්රවණාබාධිත", "ආබාධිතයන්" in the headlines and the rest of the article. | en_US |
