On October 4, 2022 several tv primetime news telecasts covered the suppression of IUSF protests by the police. The infographic presents the headlines of Derana, Hiru, Swarnavahini, Sirasa, and Siyatha. ITN had only reported the news in the content, and not in the headlines. Rupavahini had not reported the news. On October 25, Lankadeepa, Mawbima, Dinamina, Ada and Aruna reported about how a group of persons had carelessly driven vehicles inside Yala National Park. Aruna was the only newspaper that mentioned the involvement of a minister's son.en_US
