dc.description.abstractIn the month of October 2018, articles published in Divaina, Sunday Divaina and Sunday Lankadeepa which contained the ethical violations of using derogatory terms such as "dooshanaya”(දුෂණය) and “kelesu” (කෙළෙසූ) to describe sexual violence. It also disclosed the personal information such as the name of the school of the victim, the relationship between victim and perpetrator/suspect when reporting the incident and described the appearance of the victim by using terms “rumath” (රූමත්) and “surupi” (සුරූපී).en_US
