Abstract
During the month of December 2019, Mawbima, Aruna, and Ada Derana, ITN, Rupavahini, and Hiru tv channels published uncensored images of victims of sexual abuse, which is a violation of media ethical guidelines. This also includes an infographic which shows the media that revealed and not revealed the identity of the Sri Lankan embassy employee, Ganiya Bannister Francis who was allegedly abducted and sexually abused.
