dc.description.abstract | During the months of January 2022 and February 2022, several articles published in Anidda, Mawbima, Lankadeepa and Aruna contained ethical violations pertaining to gender discrimination; only highlighting women when both women and men have been arrested over an offence, stereotyping women and assigning more blame to women. Notably, Anidda published interviews with female MPs, where they had been inquired as to how they balance profession and family life, which are typically questions asked only from women during such interviews. | en_US |
