dc.description.abstract | During the month of November 2021, Mawbima, Sunday Aruna, and Hiru published several news which contained the following ethical violations; showing videos or photographs of minors involved in incidents in a manner that reveals their identity and indirectly revealing the identity of a minor victim of sexual crime through mentioning the name of the adult relative who committed the crime. Meanwhile, Swarnavahini, ITN, Sirasa, Rupavahini and Derana adhered to media ethical guidelines by not revealing the identity of minors in their reportage. | en_US |
