Abstract
During the month of October 2020, several newspapers such as Divaina, Aruna, Mawbim and Lankadeepa published several articles which contained ethical violations related to sexual assault and harassment. Sentionalising news related to sex crimes, revealing the identity of the victims and using the words such as 'dooshanaya' and 'kelaseema' were the violations done by these newspapers.
