    Abstract
    The ministry of health in Sri Lanka issued guidelines to ensure that the covid19 patients are not referred to as hosts who spread the disease and the virus. Nonetheless, in October 2020 newspapers such as Mawbima and Aruna reported them as hosts, going against the ethical guidelines.
