    Abstract
The ministry of health issued recommendations that the media should not report covid19 related news in a way that it would create unnecessary fear or shock in the general public. But rather report in a way that promotes positive expectations and unity. In October 2020 Mawbima, Aruna and Silumina had violated these guidelines in their news reportage.
