On September 11, 2020 Aruna, Lankadeepa, Mawbima and Divaina reported on a suspect who was arrested for wearing a saree with the face of Buddha printed on it. These newspapers interpreted the news in different ways, where Mawbima's reporting gave a pre-judgement on the incident
