The presentations used by Verité Research at two RTI workshops for Civil Society Organizations provide a comprehensive overview of the RTI (Right to Information) Act. They cover key topics such as the scope of the RTI Act, effective strategies for filing RTI requests, and the RTI process. Additionally, they explain how to appeal if requests are denied, share lessons learned from practical experiences with RTI, and detail the RTI strategy and its optimal use. These materials aim to educate participants on the process of filing and obtaining information through RTI requests, with examples of how Verité Research has successfully used RTI in its work to hold the government accountable.en_US
