Sri Lanka exported goods worth around USD 2.8 Bn. Today, by 2024, Bangladesh’s exports have reached USD 87 Bn, Vietnam is exporting worth USD 464 billion, having built a large economy. In Sri Lanka, our exports are still worth [only] USD 16 Bn.
