dc.description.abstract | In the Appropriation Bill for 2024, key ministries such as Finance, Defense, Health, Education, Transport, and Highways witness an increase in their allocations.
The Ministry of Finance experienced the largest year on year increase of LKR 240 billion (exlcuding interest payments), followed by the Health Ministry's LKR 88 billion.
Conversely, the Ministry of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment experienced the largest year on year reduction in its allocated expenditure of LKR 78 billion. | en_US |
