Expenditure proposals refer to those proposals that involve capital expenditure by the government distributed across ministries etc. Regulatory proposals refer to those proposals that require legislative enactments or regulatory notifications (gazettes) to have effect. Progress of over 2/3 of interim budget proposals from 2022 cannot be monitored due to undisclosed information. Over LKR 46.8 billion of taxpayer money is unaccounted for.en_US
