dc.description.abstract | This infographic includes the summary of parliament in September 2023. There were 8 parliament sittings in September 2023. During the 8 parliament sittings, 74 written questions were asked but only 29 questions were answered. There were two motions at the adjournment time. 17 announcements were made by the Speaker during the 8 parliament sittings. The number of Bills, Orders and Regulations were 11,1 and 4 respectively. Under Private Member's Bills, there was one Incorporation Bill whereas no Bill for the public interest. There were 4 questions by the Private notice at the parliament in September 2023. 61 Points of order were raised in total, and 52 points of order were ruled as technical points of order. Only 9 were ruled as disruptive points of order in the parliament during this month. 50 statements were considered as expunged statements at the parliament.
