dc.description.abstractOn August 8, 2023, State Minister of Primary Industries Chamara Sampath Dasanayake was criticised by opposition MPs for using 'unparliamentary language' in parliament, while a group of students were also in attendance. VR's Manthri Team analysed his performance in the parliament. This report card shows the contribution of MP Chamara Sampath Dasanayake (SLPP) in the 9th parliament. It is based on analysis of Hansard data from August 2020 to June 2023. This includes overall rank (78/225), Badulla district rank (4/9), attendance in parliament sittings (235/272), total number of productive interventions he made in parliament (88) and topics which were discussed most by him in the parliament i.e., Economy and Finance; Trade and Industry; Governance, Administration and Parliamentary Affairs.en_US
