dc.description.abstract | The parliament of Sri Lanka sat four times between 17 May 2022 and 20 May 2022. This set of infographics show how parliament’s time was spent based on the videos of the parliamentary sittings held on 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th of May 2022. Of the 27 hours and 46 minutes spent in parliament, 45% was spent on discussing attacks on May 9th while 34% was on the economic crisis. 10% was spent on other matters i.e. election of the deputy speaker (8%) and motion against the President (3%). It also shows how each party spent time discussing the May 9th attacks and the economic crisis. | en_US |
