Abstract
PARTLY TRUE: Today, most people in prisons are those imprisoned for being unable to pay fines. To maintain a prisoner, the government spends Rs. 671 per person per day. Accordingly, a person who is imprisoned for being unable to pay a fine of Rs. 100 will impose a monthly "fine" of over Rs. 20,000.
