On January 30th 2024, Dinamina reported on a sexual crime committed against a 10-year-old girl by her uncle. The headline included trivialising language, such as "Hadi Kala" (හදි කළ), which diminishes the severity of the incident. Additionally, the report disclosed the relationship between the perpetrator and the victim, as well as the perpetrator's name, which indirectly reveals the identity of the sexual crime victim. This violates media ethical guidelines regarding the protection of victims' identities.en_US
