dc.description.abstract	On May 10, 2023, Mawbima, Dinamina, and Aruna newspapers reported on an incident where an individual threatened a genecology specialist in the Kurunegala hospital, requesting an abortion for his girlfriend. While Dinamina and Aruna newspapers reported the news factually on the headline, Mawbima newspaper sensationalised the headline, using a direct quote from the threat. Media is advised to report such sensitive incidents objectively in a manner that does not evoke fear and shock.	en_US
