    Abstract
On 19th February 2024, Dinamina published two articles concerning an incident involving an undercover female police officer who boarded a bus to apprehend offenders and was sexually assaulted by a man. In one article, they used trivialising language, such as the term "Anangaya" (අනංගයා), to describe the sexual crime and the suspect. However, the other article used proper language without trivialising the gravity of the crime. This post shows both articles side by side for readers to compare the difference in language.
